The Sub-Committee will receive an overview of the Authority's high needs capital funding sources from Mark Mirfin – Head of Commissioning, Partnerships and Transformation.

The Sub-Committee is recommended to note the content of the report.

The Sub-Committee will be provided with a Post 16 Update on The Authority’s Ambition for Education Strategy, covering Post 16 careers and employability, from Lisa Ramshaw - Head of Service Education and Inclusion.

The members are recommended to note the report and accompanying presentation.

Mary Connor, Head of service, Safeguarding and Children Services,  will provide an update on the ILACS Short inspection of Children Services – November 2024.

The Sub-Committee is to receive a verbal update from Sonia Stewart – Democratic Services Manager, regarding the proposed approach to scrutiny and work planning for the Family Friendly sub-committee for the 2025-26 municipal year.
