To Receive any Declarations of Interest and Notification of any Dispensations Granted

Exclusion Resolution

The Committee will be requested to pass the following resolution:

 

Resolved that under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) and having applied a public interest test as defined in Part 2 of Schedule 12A of the Act, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

Minutes:

RESOLVED that under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) and having applied a public interest test in accordance with Part 2 of Schedule 12A the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

Corporate Complaint Procedure - Stage 3

Minutes:

The Committee received a report which provided details of a Stage 3 Corporate Complaint against the Children, Young People and Learning Directorate.

 

The Senior Manager (SEND and Inclusion) and the complaint were in attendance.

 

Both parties presented their respective cases and all parties were allowed to ask questions.

 

During the proceedings, an offer was made and accepted for the relevant officer and complainant to have a discussion in private to determine if any parts of the complaint could be resolved.

 

It was agreed that the case be adjourned and any outstanding issues following discussion be brought back to the Committee if necessary.
