This is to give further notice in accordance with paragraphs 5(4) and 5(5) of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 of the intention to consider item 4 below in private.

Cabinet is requested to consider passing the following resolution:

Resolved that under Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act

1972 (as amended) and having applied a public interest test as

defined in Part 3 of Schedule 12A of the Act, the press and public be

excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the

grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

RESOLVED – that under Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) and having applied a public interest test as defined in Part 3 of Schedule 12A of the Act, the press and public be excluded from the meeting on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

As part of the ongoing work on the Authority’s Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP), the Authority has reviewed its current arrangements with its Strategic Partners. This report will seek Cabinet approval for a deed of variation with a contract with one of the Authority’s Partners.

Plan (MTFP), the Authority has review its current arrangements with

its Strategic Partners.  The report presented sought Cabinet approval

for a Deed of Variation with a contract with one of the Authority’s 

Partners.

RESOLVED –      that (1) the proposed settlement as set out in the report be agreed, (2) the Director of Resources in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources, Cabinet Member for the Environment, Deputy Mayor, Director of Regeneration and Economic Development and the Head of Law be authorised to conclude all necessary arrangements, (3) that the Director of Resources in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources, the Head of Law and Head of People and Organisational Development be authorised to commence and finalise all necessary consultation with all affected employees and/or their Trade Unions with respect to the transfer of staff pursuant to Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and all other relevant legislation and any other matters relating to any employees affected, (4) Director of Resources be authorised to novate, extend procure any associated third-party contracts and any other matters associated with this decision in consultation with the Director of Regeneration and Economic Development and the Head of Law.
